For in-kind support to be recognized by the Board of Directors, a letter of intent must be submitted to the GC Board Chairperson and approved by the board. Commitment & Participation
Minimize

MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENTS
Generous Community encourages a 3 year membership commitment from Businesses and Industries which join. Membership becomes a three year pledge and will be stated on the plaque, presented. Business leaders are reminded every day that they are in it for the long term.

RECOMMENDING OTHER COMPANIES
New members should always be asked, who else do they know who might like to join. This could go a long way to boost membership.

FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE
One key goal of GC is to become financially independent as soon as possible. GC is always seeking various areas of possible financial support. Such areas could include Grants, Foundations, Individuals, and more.

ENCOURAGE COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP
Every contributing member serves on the Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee members then choose one of the following committees to serve on: i.e.

Education/Workplace Initiatives
Website, resources, training manuals

Development
Membership & Public Relations

In doing so, members participate in decision making, which directly affects students and the community as a whole.

PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITIES
Along with the opportunities to becoming a member as listed in the previous section, you or your company can also participate in the following:

SCHOOL TOURS
You or members of your staff are welcome to go on a tour of the various Member Educational Centers. This is generally scheduled on the first Monday of every month, usually from 10:00 am to noon. Please call the GC office to set up a tour.

TOUR OF YOUR FACILITY
We like our Educators and Students to tour Member Company Facilities. Would you like to host such events? These are generally scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month. Usually between the hours of 10:00 am and noon. What size group is good for you? How often can we arrange a tour? Please call the GC office to arrange this.

IN-KIND SERVICES
Are there any In-Kind Services which you or your company can offer? Please list these for us. Let us know down the road if additional contributions can be made.
